Instead of learning to treat cuts and burns, those who attend the all-day workshop will learn to give mental health first aid. Effective April 3, 2017, amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation will require the following: Employers must ensure that a written evaluation is conducted annually to measure the effectiveness of the Committee. The majority of workers said management valued their safety, but noted they were not trained in depth on a variety of safety and health topics.
