Klamath Community College is now offering a Wildland Fire Academy that will qualify job seekers for careers in wildland firefighting, according to a news release. The KCC Wildland Fire Academy begins May 9 and runs for two weeks. Students who complete the academy will be ready to seek work with wildland firefighting agencies and private contractors.
